Vacancy For Imam At Eastbourne Mosque

An exciting opportunity to join the Eastbourne Mosque as an Imam.

The Eastbourne Mosque is a busy Mosque and Islamic Centre, with a history of serving the Muslim community in Eastbourne.

We are seeking to recruit an Imam to join our religious services department, who will specialise in engaging with Muslim youth and wider society, and have skills in the following areas:

• Have a strong understanding of Islam and Muslims
• Fluent in English and Arabic language
• And have experience of teaching children and adults

The role of Imam requires flexibility in working hours, and will include some weekends and bank holidays. You will be complementing an experienced imam.

Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) clearance and references.

Salary: (Negotiable – depending on experience)
