Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
We are pleased to announce that we shall be celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr on Sunday the 30th March 2025 InshaAllah.
There will be two Eid prayers at 08:30 and 10:00 in our mosque.
The ladies area will also be open for them to attend both Eid salahs.
Attendees are reminded to adhere to the following conditions for Eid Salah arrangements:
- At the Masjid: Please follow the instructions of the marshals
- Parking: Parking facilities are limited. Do not park on double yellow lines or the private side street. Please consider using The Beacon Parking (BN21 3NW) from 09:00 (£1.40 for 1 hour, £2.80 for 2 hours) which is a short walk away from the mosque.
- Wudu: Please perform wudu at home
- Do not congregate inside and outside the masjid after Eid salahs. It is important to prepare for the next group. Please leave the masjid by 9.30am following the first salah
- Do not congregate outside in front of the houses as we do not want the neighbours to be disturbed.
Zakat ul Fitr
Boxes are available at the door for zakat ul fitr which is £5 per person. You can pay your Zakat Ul Fitr now to avoid congestion on the day.
Zakat ul fitr must be paid before Eid salahs.
Please donate generously to keep our Mosque running and functioning for our community.
Second Floor Appeal
We are currently doing an appeal to raise fund to build a second floor which will give more space on Fridays and on Eid days due to the increasing number of people using the Masjid. We also need to have more classrooms to reduce the number of children on the waiting list to enrol into children Arabic classes. Please donate generously.
Eid Celebration
We are having an Eid Celebration on Sunday 6th April 2025 from 1pm to 4:30pm at Harlow Sports Centre, Cross Level way, Eastbourne. There will be separate arrangements at the venue for both brothers and sisters. All families are welcome. Plenty of free Car parking spaces at the venue.
May Allah accept all our acts of Ibaadah during Ramadan, forgive all our shortcomings and guide us all to the straight path.
Wishing you all a blessed Eid. May this Eid bring joy, relief, guidance, success and happiness to the entire Ummah.
JazaakoumAllah khair,
EICC
