Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

Eastbourne Mosque would like to announce that Eid ul-Adha will be on Tuesday 21st August 2018.

Monday 20th August will be the day of Arafah.

Eid Salah will be at 08:00 at Eastbourne Mosque.

The 1st of the Islamic calendar month of Dhul Hijjah starts today.

May Allah swt accept all our good deeds.

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

Alhumdulillah work has resumed after the holy month of Ramadan. You will notice the bollards on the side of the building and the design of the front entrance are being built to make the entrance safer and more secure. These things are to do with safety and security only and nothing else.

You will also notice on the left side of the Mosque, the stairs which have been added for the ladies and children is a requirement for fire regulations. It is a fire exit, built in such a way that the ladies can leave their shoes and buggies downstairs and access the praying area upstairs so, these stairs will be used as a dual purpose.

In front of the Mosque, there is a lovely circular structure (planter) being constructed. This will give an added Islamic feature to complement our Mosque.

Brothers and Sisters as always all these great achievements and progress could not have been done without your generous donations, patience, and continuous support. To maintain our Mosque and the ongoing development we still require your involvement and your generous donations. May Allah bless all your good intentions.

We are happy to announce that we shall be celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr either on Friday the 15th June InshaAllah.

Eid Salah will be held at:

Eid prayers start at 08:00am, and Eid party after Salaat.

May Allah accept all our good deeds and forgive our shortcomings during the Holy Month.

Please remember Zakatul-Fitr be given before prayer.
